Job description

This is a full-time Tax Analyst for businesses in the Philippines role based in Cebu City, with flexibility for some remote work. The tax analyst will be responsible for tax compliance and tax preparation for our Philippines-based clients. This role requires working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and providing assistance to clients to meet their tax obligations efficiently.

Practice Unit: Tax Accounting Services

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
  • Review and analyze monthly financial statements and tax positions for clients
  • Prepare and review tax returns (EWT, WTC, VAT/PT, ITR, etc.) and ensure adherence to tax rulings and regulations
  • File tax returns electronically and obtain confirmation for clients
  • Manage annual registrations and business permit renewals
  • Generate monthly and annual financial statements for clients
  • Analyze income statements and balance sheets
  • Assist with client audits and reconciliations
  • Monitor and maintain client compliance dashboards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related program
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in tax compliance
  • CTT certification is a plus.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on tax regulations
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle various engagements and clients
