This full-time hybrid role for a Senior Accounting Analyst has flexibility for remote work. As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will deliver high-quality financial accounting and reporting services to our clients. Practice Unit: Integrated Financial Reporting Services
Responsibilities:
- Implement and regularly update Agreed Upon Procedures (AUP) and Desktop Procedures (DTPs) with clients.
- Review and verify sales, revenue, expenses, and disbursement transactions recorded by the accounting team.
- Ensure timely and accurate transaction recording.
- Execute monthly and yearly closing activities, including depreciation, amortization, accruals, payroll entries, account adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger schedules.
- Coordinate with client’s Accounting team for proper closing activities.
- Ensure properly and timely booking of financial transactions.
- Perform account analysis and adjust for account discrepancies.
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements and analysis of the statements.
- Review and analyze aging schedules for accounts receivable and payable.
- Identify and resolve any issues encountered by the accounting team.
- Attend internal and external client meetings and assist with preparation of reports and presentations.
- Monitor and review the work of Junior Accounting Analysts.
- Review and evaluate the performance of Junior Accounting Analysts with the Team Leader.
- Mentor and coach the Junior Accounting Analysts while creating development plans tailored to each Analyst.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- CPA is a plus
- Good communication skills
